Mouvex, a manufacturer of eccentric disc pumps and an operating company within Dover Corp.’s Pump Solutions Group (PSG), has announced that its A-Series Eccentric Disc Pumps have been designed to adapt to chemicals that are viscous, non-lubricating, volatile or delicate. Mouvex’s A-Series pumps can meet these challenges through their eccentric-disc design, which results in self-priming and pipe-clearing capabilities, even when running dry. Optional features for the A-Series pumps include a double-bypass for protection when the pump is operating in both directions, a high-temperature HT model that enables product transfer up to 250C and heating or cold jackets for transferring products that can solidify at ambient temperatures. The A-Series is also ATEX certified and can run dry in such environments.
